Quick info and FAQ:
- Why am I not getting the activation code?
There is a known problem in some countries with inability to receive our code. We are trying to fix that, but in many cases it seems like a problem with the cellular providers themselves.
Meanwhile, please try removing Viber, wait 24 hours, reinstall and try again (make sure you try both the SMS and the automated call options).
If you still receive nothing, contact our support team at http://support.viber.com/ provide them with details, and they will try to assist you further.
- A contact of mine is not recognized as a Viber user even though I know for certain that they installed Viber. Why?
Try the following workaround: enter Viber and find a person you know has Viber in the "All" contact list. Enter his details, change a digit, save and exit. Then enter the contact again, change the digit back (to the original, correct number), save and exit. Wait about 10 minutes and see if he's recognized as a Viber user now. If it doesn't work, please go to Viber's DialPad and try to manually dial the number in its FULL format (including the "+" sign, the country code, area code, etc.)
- Is Viber available on my device?
Viber is currently available on iOS (iPhone, iPod-Touch, iPad) and popular Android smartphones. Blackberry support is coming soon and Viber-for-Desktop is also currently in development. Viber for Symbian and Windows Phone are planned.

- Sometimes when I'm connected to 3G network Viber's quality is bad. Why is that?
3G networks can sometimes be disrupted and not fully handle VoIP calls. This could be due to bad reception areas, or slow connection provided by the cellular operator. Naturally, this affects Viber and damages its quality, but we are continuously working to improve Viber's handling of 3G networks. Expect improvements soon!
