Overview POINT 2000 is a retailshop for Cellular Phone Handset and accesories. POINT 2000 was founded in 1999 with the first retailshop at Mega Mall Pluit, Jakarta. As the reseller growth up, after two year operation, POINT 2000 expantion the retail shop at ITC Roxy Mas.

By 2003, to accomodate all POINT 2000 retailshop in Jakarta, we make a new company PT. ERA POINT GLOBALINDO. As the company growth, now we have 12 branches in Jakarta and 3 in Makassar which covered for all Branded Cellular Phone for Indonesia Market. All the retailshop have branded “POINT 2000”.

By the time as the market of cellular phone grow up, PT. ERA POINT GLOBALINDO generate three subsidiary company as Unit Business related to Cellular Phone Market. The main function of PT. ERA POINT GLOBALINDO (Holding) are:
a. As main distributor I-Mobile Cellular Phone (PT. SMART I-MOBILE INDONESIA)
b. As main distributor Micxon Mobile Cellular Phone
c. As main Distributor Blackberry Smart Phone. (PT. EXCELCOMINDO PRATAMA, Tbk)

The subsidiary function are :
a. PT. Globe Telekom Nusantara as Authorized Service Centre for I-Mobile cellular Phone.
b. PT. Era Point Globatama as IT & Business Development Division especially in e-commerce and E-Voucher (Integrated IT Based System with Cellular Operator).
c. Retail Shop called “POINT 2000”.

Beside generating subsidiary company, PT. ERA POINT GLOBALINDO also as shareholder in two other company e.g PT. Era Point Swamandiri, and PT. Selular Inti Perkasa.

By 2009 we are increase our market share to the modern market and coorporate market which using Strategic Alliance. Our partnert in modern is Hypertmart and Carrefour. And our corporate market including banking sector such as BCA, BII, Mega Bank, Mandiri, and in process to alliance with top banking in Indonesia.
