Established in 1983 in New York's Chelsea neighborhood, Chelsea Frames soon distinguished itself with its unique approach to custom framing. This "neighborhood" framing shop was soon hailed by Art Business News as being "a leading force in encouraging and supporting the art movement to Chelsea," New York's new Soho. Since then, Chelsea Frames has become a distinguished framing studio and gallery quoted in New York Magazine as "well worth the drive into the city. "Voted "Best of New York", New York Magazine.
Chelsea Frames' client base includes many leading New York art galleries (Sears Peyton Gallery, Gagosian Gallery), movie production companies (recent films and television series include: The Good Wife, It's Complicated..., Did you hear about the Morgans?, The Adjustment Bureau, Sex & the City II, Fringe, and a host of others, some soon to be released), architects such as Steven Gambrel and Robert A.M. Stern, and corporate clients (Tommy Hilfiger, Todd Oldham, Polo-Ralph Lauren, Condé Nast), and many of New York's, Los Angeles', and Miami's top interior designers. However, we continuously provide services to our loyal Chelsea clientele.
