General Information
Silsilae-alia Qaderia is the name of a TARIQAH (A guied line which leads the followers to the path of Allah by a genuine Sufi) founded by the Greatest Sufi and The king of Sufism Gawsul Azam Abdul Qader Jilani Al Bagdadi (R.A). This TARIQA has been spreaded all over the world by His (R.A) khalifas. Thus, the people of this sub-continent were showed the way by Gawse dawra Khaja Abdur Rahman Chawrab

The pioneer of newspaper industry in Chittagong,Bangladesh and the founder of 'The Daily Azadi' Late Alhaj Abdul Khaleque (Engineer) and many inhabitants of Chittagong gained the good luck of being the followers of Syed Ahmad Shah Sirikoti (Rahmatullah Alaihe) when he was the Imam of "Rengun Bangali Mosjid" .
During the last stage of the Second World War he left Burma with the followers of Chittagong forever and stayed in the house of sirikot Sharif. Due to the requesting of the followers of Chittagong he came to Bangladesh in 1944 and began the deeds of Silsilah Staying on the upper floor of Kohinoor Electric Press in chittagong belonged to Abdul Khaleq (Engineer) for above one month.
From then he would come to Chittagong during winter every year and it was continued till 1958. Through his month-long staying and the extreme interest of many influenced brothers-sisters from different villages and districts he visited various places and indicated the brothers-sisters of Silsila-E-Tarika about the way of relief in worldly life and eternal life. Thousands of people changed their Luck & life being his (R.A) followers.
Pir Syed Tayyab Shah, the lonely son of Syed Ahmad Shah sirikuti (R.A),would also come to Bangladesh following his Father.He led a simple life and brought change into the lives of people interacting through love for humanity, peace and preaching of justice among the fellow beings. This gave him a status of a leader among his tribemen and others. Every now and then when a dispute would arise among the people, they would come for a verdict from Pir Syed Muhammad Tayyab Shah (R.A).In 1986 Huzur Kibla visited Bangladesh and it was his last travel here. In this year he ordered Anjuman-E-Rahmania Ahmadia Sunnia to form Gausia committee to perform all the tasks of Tarikat & Sariat as Silsillah-E-Alia Quaderiah expanded widely that’s why to unite all Tarikat Brothers and to convey ideal goal of Anjuman to all parts of the society and to protect Muslim brothers from Shirk –Bidat & Batel Firquah,Gausia Committee Bangladesh was established as a branch organization of Anjuman. Nowadays the important tasks of Sariat-Tarikat are being solved through ‘Gausia committee Bangladesh’. It is hoped that many more welfare works will also be done in future.
