Zander's Professional Farrier Services
I started working with a farrier about four years ago first doing finish work, trims and then moving on to shoeing.
About a year ago I felt like I knew enough to start my own business but I decided go to farrier school first.
The school that I went to, Mission Farrier School, taught me more than I ever thought there was to know about horse's feet.
We learned the importance of proper shoe placement to lift the bones up within the foot, to provide optimal blood flow, and to keep undue strain off the tendons and ligaments.
With this in-depth knowledge of the biomechanics of horse's feet I now know how to do something "for" horses feet rather than just doing something "to" them.
