|About||Dr. Taylor is an experienced music educator and performer. She earned a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Georgia. Dr. Taylor has had a very active career in music, and recently retired from 30+ years of public school music teaching.|
The Music Doctor's Philosophy of Teaching:
Every student is different and precious in his or her own way. Each student's instruction should be catered to his or her learning style. It is the student's role to be an active participant in his or her music study. It is the teacher's role to be a communicator, facilitator, bold-visionary, intuitionist, encourager, guide, and mentor to each of her students. Through the fulfillment of these roles, the student will succeed and hopefully become a life-long participant in music.
