Poemeleon: A Journal of PoetryLifestyle — Magazine
Each issue of Poemeleon is devoted to a specific kind of poetry. The first issue, dedicated to the poetry of place, launched in June 2006, with subsequent issues dedicated to ekphrastic poetry (volume I issue 2), poems in form (volume II issue 1), prose poems (volume II issue 2), persona poems (volume III issue 1), humor (volume III issue 2), gender (volume IV issue 1,), collaboration (volume IV issue 2), prime time poetry (volume V issue 1), and in celebration of our 5th anniversary, the open issue (volume V issue 2), which welcomed all forms, styles, and themes.

Poemeleon: A Journal of Poetry was founded by Cati Porter in December of 2005.
Poemeleon's editorial staff is comprised of: Cati Porter (founder & editor-in-chief), Maureen Alsop, Ren Powell, and Judy Kronenfeld (associate poetry editors), Charlotte Davidson (associate nonfiction editor, focusing on essays about craft) and Tom C. Hunley (book review editor).
Poemeleon is published twice per year.
