Description In Kaei* 4 (1851), Eiraku Hozen*opened the studio under the support of Enmanin Monzeki Kakujyun Imperial Prince*. He lived in Ohtsu and had many friends in wide social classes. His original patterns and shapes were called as "Konanyaki", "Mi-i-ohama", and "Nagarayama" and lived in praise only for a few years because of his death in 1857.
