>> History <<

Winter 2005 / Spring 2006: Sioux hosts 'Wel Rock Niet Hetero', an atypical but successful series of inspiring indie rock parties. But after just a few editions, the party suddenly vanishes into thin air.

Summer 2007: Casa Rosa caught us by surprise: 'Wel Rock Niet Hetero' made a guest appearance at their Gentse Feesten parties. But with the magic gone and music that didn’t match our high expectations, we were left with the hangover, much as if we had had a deceiving one night stand with our sweetest ex.

2008: Salvation! Make Up Club becomes the flag ship store of nightlife in Ghent. The club hosts 'Hindu Nights' and lets Rock and Roll rule their dance floor.

2012: Craving for indie rock tunes, two brave pink knights (no shining armour, unfortunately) take matters into their own hands. They come up with the party that will complete the circle in 2012: 'Indie Rokkers' will inject the LBGT scene with it's long overdue dose of indie rock n roll. Starting March 3rd, Sioux.
